Fukui Prefecture participated the "Japan Fair in Guangzhou" held at Guangdong International Convention and Exhibition Center in Guangzhou  from September 15th to the 18th. At the fair, booths were set up to showcase Fukui's business products, history, culture and tourist attractions and to provide business consultation to local companies.

422 companies and 37 organizations from Japan took part in the event along with 360,000 visitors from around the world. For four days,133 companies were provided with business consultation out of 5333 visitors to Fukui Prefecture booth.
