HU Jiafu, Party Secretary of the Yanbian Korean Autonomous Region in Jilin Province, China, visited Chungcheongnam-do Province and discussed issues of mutual interests, including the Kumsan Ginseng Festival with Governor KIM Tae-heum.

Meanwhile, Mr. Kim visited Kumamoto Prefecture, Osaka, Nara Prefecture, Shizuoka Prefecture, and Tokyo between May 21 to 27. In addition, he promoted tourism by introducing the Daebaek Festival scheduled to be held in September and October and the Geumsan World Ginseng Festival in October with Japanese local governments, as well as attracting Japanese companies to invest in the province.
