Secretary-General LIM Byung-jin visited the Korean Embassy in Mongolia on July 25th for a meeting with Ambassador KIM Jong-gu. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the objective of his visit to Mongolia, introduce NEAR, and request him for collaboration with Mongolian NEAR member regions so as to facilitate their participation in forthcoming NEAR events hosted in Korea.

Following the meeting, Mr. Kim acknowledged that his conversation with Mr. Lim shed light on NEAR as an international organization fostering multilateral exchange among regional governments in Northeast Asia. He expressed his commitment to active cooperation with Mongolian member regions when they engage in NEAR events in the future.
