History

  • In 1653 (10th year of Qing Junzhi), the installation of Ningguta Anbangzhangjing was the beginning of Jillin Province.
  • In 1931, Japan instigated the "September 18,”and and occupied northeast China. In March 1932, the Manchukuo puppet regime was established.
  • In 1948 when the Liaoshen battle began, the Northeast People's Liberation Army troops surrounded Changchun, and the whole territory of Jilin was liberated.
