NEAR Signs an MOU with Handong Global University to Revitalize Exchange and Cooperation among Young Adults2023-10-12

On October 12, Secretary-General LIM Byung-jin visited Handong Global University, met with President CHOI Do-sung, and signed an MOU to revitalize exchange and cooperation among local young adults and university students.
Mr. Lim said that NEAR is pleased to contribute to the internationalization of local communities through the signing of the MOU with Handong Global University and looks forward to more exchange and cooperation activities with local young adults and university students in the coming years.
In response, Mr. Choi said that the university is planning various projects in conjunction with "Global University 30" to internationalize the region and that the goals of these projects are in line with the purpose of NEAR. He proposed to work together for exchange between local universities, young adults, and residents.
Located in Pohang, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Handong Global University is a four-year private university that opened in 1995, with a total enrollment of 3,900 students. It is evaluated as a leading university in nurturing global talent through various internationalization programs.
