Cheng Anni, who has worked as the Chinese seconded officer at the NEAR Secretariat since December 2020, left office on December 10.
Over the past year, Ms. Cheng has contributed to the development of the NEAR Secretariat, supporting exchange and liaison with Chinese member regional governments, proofreading documents drawn up at the Secretariat, and interpretation, etc.
Secretary-General Kim Ok-chae commended her hard work at the Secretariat and presented her with a commemorative plaque and gift. Ms. Cheng stated that providing support for a large-scale event such as the General Assembly became an excellent opportunity to learn about international exchange events during her time at the Secretariat.
