
The Far Eastern Investment Company, Tsyaosin, a resident company in the free port of Vladivostok, has harvested its first soybean crop after creating a new agricultural complex in Primorsky Region.
Primorsky Region is home to the top 10 highest producing soybean regions in Russia. Next year, resident companies plan to increase the size of arable land and expand production to grow grain and oil seed. Resident companies of the free port of Vladivostok have invested 54.8 billion RUB in the regional economy as they work in partnership with the Far East Development Corporation, creating more than 6500 jobs. It is expected that a further 59,000 jobs will be created.
