On February 10, ‘The Earth Hall of Fame Kyoto’ Award was held at Kyoto International Conference Center. The award is granted to those who have made a significant contribution to environmental protection on a global scale. There were three recipients of the award, including Dennis Meadows, author of Limits to Growth.
After the awards ceremony, an International Symposium on environment and culture titled ‘The Earth Forum Kyoto’ was held and attended by many to listen to the lectures of the award winners and panel discussion.
