On Friday, January 6, the NEAR Secretariat delegation headed by Director Ku Ja-hee of the Department of International Cooperation visited the Mongolian Consulate General in Busan. The delegation introduced NEAR and held discussions on the future cooperation between the two organizations.
The Director Ku said, “All 22 aimags of Mongolia have been actively participating in NEAR events and activities, and have gained various information and experiences regarding developed administrative systems. The future cooperation of the Consulate of Mongolia would be very much appreciated." Baraalkhakhdaa, the consul of Mongolia responded to that he would provide support to NEAR when requested, and is willing to visit the Secretariat Office during the consular comet service in Pohang in February.
The Consulate of Mongolia in Busan was open in January, 2016 and has jurisdiction over Busan, Ulsan, Daegu, Gyeongsangnam-do, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and Jeollanam-do in South Korea.
