  • Theme : The Era of Great Transition, Exploring Ways to Promote Cooperation Among Northeast Asian Regional Governments

The 11th NEAR Youth Art Contest

  • Registration Deadline : By September 27, 2023
  • Eligibility : Youth aged 12-18 from 86 member regions (77 members excluding North Korea, 1 associate member, and 8 observers).
  • Theme : What Our Festivals Tell Us about Northeast Asia (festivals you want to be a part of, festivals you want to tell everyone about)
  • Total No. of Submissions : 827 (31 members, 2 observers, 1 non-member)
    • Awardee : 200 persons (1 first prize, 10 second prizes, 20 participation awards, 169 special recognition awards)

Exhibitions showcasing the awarded artworks were held.

  • Purpose : To promote NEAR by displaying the youth artworks for six years.
